Aubade were originally formed to explore the lesser charted regions of flute and guitar repertoire, as well as giving full expression to the established garden of this marvelous instrumental combination. Margaret and Anne have a shared interest in early music -both perform on early instruments including renaissance flute, baroque flute, renaissance lute and baroque guitar, enabling them to produce programs of the broadest diversity. Early, traditional, and contemporary music are presented in an informal but informative style, ensuring that their audiences are educated and entertained in a concert that can be tailored for a variety of tastes.
